Sequitur

"Sequitur is a method for inferring compositional hierarchies from strings. It detects repetition and factors it out of the string by forming rules in a grammar." Think of it as a (rather good) compression engine where the compressed version is not only legible but interesting and useful. (Submitted by Effugas.)
